Removing poverty with the help of Education

Education is not just a simple word that changes a person's life but also a game-changer of the country. India has one of the largest economies in the world with a 135.26 crores population. Our literacy rate has been increasing year by year. When this country was deprived by the Britishers, the literacy rate was 12 percent which increased to 74.04 percent. That's a generous increase, but still, it's not a number that drops down the poverty rate. Poverty and education are two inter-dependent words that change the fate of a person. They are the words which replicate starving to death to having a plate full of meals. But how come street children, child labor, slum dwellers know the value of education? Even if they can, how can they make an effort or go to a school by themselves? Many organizations help and support such people to make them a better and happy person by getting educated. It's not just up to those organizations but on every individual to provide and utilize this education. Why educate? This word brings a lot of things into our life. Things like knowledge, personal growth, career, improve confidence, change lifestyle, change in perspective and many more. If this simple word is bringing that much change in a person's life, then why can it change the growth and development of the country? It definitely will change the country but not with one or two persons but by increasing the rate of literacy at least to 85-86 per cent. How can this word rewrite poverty? As education provides lots of facilities, education can increase earnings. If workers from poor and rich backgrounds receive the same education, the disparity between the two in working poverty could decrease. Thus, it helps to increase the economic growth of the country, and the country provides more and more facilities. Overall climate change and the resulting increased frequency of natural disasters and reduced agricultural output could cast as many as 122 million people into poverty by 2030. The creation of green industries will rely on high-skilled, educated workers. Agriculture contributes 1/3 of all greenhouse gas emissions. Primary and secondary education can provide future farmers with critical knowledge about sustainability challenges in agriculture. It's not necessary but it’s a need to give at least a penny for the organizations who are trying to make a better generation by educating the future rock stars and line upping poverty in the best way they could. An investment in knowledge pays the best interest. “Education's purpose is to replace an empty mind with an open one”
